Strange Fruit Project Biography

Quando MC e produtor S1 (Symbolyc One), que cresceu tocando piano e bateria em sua igreja, em Waco, TX, queria começar uma banda, fazia sentido para ele olhar mais longe do MC companheiro e primo Myth (mitológico). Apesar de não ser muito nunca veio de seu grupo, Simbólico Elementz, em 1998 S1 reuniu Myone através do trabalho, e quando os primos decidiram ir para o estúdio, Myone tag along. Quando ingressou em um canto, o trio logo percebeu o quão bem eles trabalharam juntos. Eles escolheram o nome Strange Fruit Project da canção Billie Holiday do nome semelhante, e em 2004 seu recorde Soul Travelin 'saiu. Depois de colaborar com Ghostface Killah, em 2005, na canção "Milk 'Em", SFP ganharam mais atenção da crítica, e em 2006 eles assinaram com a Om Records, que lançou The Healing do mesmo ano.
